A Trip to the Past

I was with a friend (known as Pooh within our group) around Beach Road one day. We decided to pay a visit to the little museum around that area. Admission was just $2.00 but it was an eye opener for people who likes old stuff like us.

Wanna watch a movie?

Book Store in the 60s

A carriage for toodler in the 1930s

Barber Shop in the 50s/60s/70s??

Pooh selling drinks in the 60s

Prams from another era

Rides for kids 30 to 40 years ago

Toys for kids back then. Seriously it is not my era as most toys shown was not recognised by me.

This reminds me of the movie “跑吧,孩子” by Jack Neo

One of the vintage bike in the little museum. There are 2 Vespas and 2 very old Honda bikes there.

Ferrari 348

Today after my lunch, I was surprised to see a vintage Ferrari parked just in front of our loading bay. It was driven by our contractor but heard from his boss that car actually belongs to his "customer" as he is doing modification of cars as part time. The Ferrari owner lives in a 3 storey bungalow and own 30 over cars.

Flea Market Fun

This July, we will be at the China Square Flea Market every Sunday! Not to make money but rather, it's more on the fun part and hopefully can make new friends who are into diecast or toy car collecting.

Kelvin aka Wei Qiang aka Pooh Bear hard sell his "Made in Singapore" fire truck and his "Made in Italy" Bburagos. But we have lots of fun with him around.

My YRV Again

After diecast gathering, me and Kelvin went to Winsor Hotel for Teochew Porridge buffet. I was facinated by the "sloping" car park and took picture of my car.

Cheated in Shanghai

Was cheated in Shanghai and reported to our local newspaper because I want to warn people who knows nothing about how people are cheated in Shanghai or any part of China. See how they report? They omitted how they actually pretend to be tourist from other part of China and asking for direction. I am very dissapointed with our local press and friends all think that I am willing to fall for it. I also called up the editor and he thinks that he is not in the wrong.

Pa Pa's Birthday!!!

Well, just a simple meal in a Teochew restaurant.

Some of our favourite dishes, spare me for the names. The one in the centre is the cold dish.
